I really need to start posting all my stuff that I want to blog about since I find that I end up not doing them and instead revert back to manga and anime which is not a good thing. Don’t even game either these days heh. Back to the topic. When my parents came we went to the lake district to have a holiday there. We went to Keswick (kes – sic, how you pronounce it) and stayed there for the duration of our time there. The rental car that I posted in one of my previous posts was the vehicle that took us round the entire area. The lake district is indeed a nice place to be and the scenery is fantastic as aclaimed.
Here is the first picture of Derwent Water. Which was the lake right beside Keswick.
Add the mountain view in the back drop of the lake. Theres a high up look out point up there in this picture but I don’t remember where about it was. Probably the rocky out crop that you can see in the middle. The greyish thing up the mountain where theres is a slight U dip in the middle. Just below that probably.
Couldn’t wait for sunset to take this picture since it would look great during the sunset. We tried for all the days that were spent in Keswick to take it but it was either too late or the clouds did not let up and the mountain on the opposing side would block the sun from going down so there was a limited time frame to capture the shot then again this was a fairly good one.
You can also rent boats to row out into the lake by the hour. Not that cheap though and each boat has its own name. Not bad. Hey wait is that me in the picture??
The view from further back up the shoreline.
Nice one of the landing dock. Ducks in the background.
Heres the shot from up the look out point up the hill. Pretty far on the other side though.
This shot was taken up at a lake in the upper mountain region. You can actually hike all the way up there but it will take like days to reach the peak there and take a photo or camp on the top. Do it during the summer. Worth the effort and time. Lots of people hiking with backpacks and such up the mountain to camp.
More eye candy for ya.
Well thats about all from the line up here for this part of the lake district of Keswick. Not sure what to post next, probably another lake district set again.
