Well first up, its exam period and everybody is studying hard for it. I have my first paper which is applied bioinformatics at 2pm this coming Friday GMT 0 time. Thats 10 pm for you boys and girls back home in SEA. Next paper to come will be Plant Biotechnology next week on the 17th which is a Thursday at 2pm GMT 0 also. So yes before you go to bed you can pray for me since its 10pm where you boys and girls are before tucking in the sheets to sleep.
Well I can’t be studying non-stop like mad cause there isn’t much to study and since the paper is going to be application based, I will need to get my grounding right in order to answer the questions that will come out and I still don’t even know the location the exam will be held at and these few days I’m sleeping earlier and waking up earlier without the help of alarm clocks, probably due to the internal timer which changes accordingly.
So today I decided to do some manga review of what I have been reading. This is going to be first for you lot since I have not told you guys what kind of manga I read. Heh, its going to be shocking if you decided to follow it. So out of the entire range that I’m following I’ll present 4 of the titles that I am currently following.
First up we have Sekirei.

This series is about Minato a repeater who failed to get into college after his 2nd try and then gets involved in a fight between two sekirei. The Sekirei are 108 guys/girls that are let out and have to find masters/owners in order to get into a pact with and they have to fight till the last one stands. As some have guess this has a lot of comedy, action, and will Minato be able to sleep properly at night?
2nd title we have is Kekkaishi

Since ancient times Kekkaishi have the power to conjure kekkai/barrier cubes to catch and destroy ayakashi/monster spirits that go wild. This story is of Yoshimori and Tokine from two different Kekkaishi families that protect a sacred land called Karasumori which also happens to be their school in this current day and age. Lots of battles will come and what will await these two as their daily life in school progresses.
3rd up we have Rosario+Vampire

In order to realise his parents dreams of him going to high school Aono Tsukune’s father picks up a brochure for a school called Youkai Gakuen/monster school and signs his son up for it. In order to go to the place he has to take a bus through a tunnel that reaches the school. What awaits him however is a school that isn’t ordinary, its actually full of ayakashi/monsters. With strict regulation that if any human were to step foot inside of this place they would be killed instantly. Well for being the only human and have a cute and pretty vampire who likes to suck his blood from time to time and not to mention facing all sorts of other ayakashi, will Tsukune be able to hold out in this school or will he be dead before he graduates.
Lastly we have Kiss x Sis

When Keita was young his father remarried his current step mother who has two twin daughters. His two older sisters Aka and Rika have been added to the family but things aren’t just as they seem. With both girls confessing their love for their younger brother and even the neighbours betting on who Keita will end up with in the future as in Japan as long as you’re not blood related and you remove yourself from the family register you can marry non-blood related step siblings things start to spiral out of control as both girls will do anything to win his heart. Not to mention even their parents are also supportive in trying to see which he will choose in the future its going to be a very long and hard road for Keita.
And there you have it. Some of the manga that I’m following at the moment. I’ll probably not do anymore reviews in the future depending on what kind of feedback I get if somebody does try to pick up one of these titles to read.
